One-to-one Hypnobirthing Course

Service Description

Our one-to-one hypnobirthing course is designed to help you approach birth feeling calm, confident, and well prepared. Led by experienced NHS midwives, this personalised course combines evidence-based education with practical relaxation and breathing techniques to help you understand how your body works during labour. We focus on reducing fear, building confidence, and giving you the tools to feel more in control of your birth experience. The course is typically delivered across three sessions of approximately 2.5 hours, allowing time to build knowledge gradually and practise techniques together. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and birth plans, ensuring the content feels relevant and meaningful to you. Birth partners are encouraged to attend, so they feel confident in how best to support you throughout labour and birth. Sessions can take place either in our calm, welcoming studio or in the comfort of your own home, giving you flexibility to choose the setting that suits you best. Throughout the course, we will guide you through: • Understanding how your body works during labour and birth • The role of hormones in labour and how to support the natural birth process • Breathing techniques to promote relaxation and help manage contractions • Guided relaxation and visualisation techniques to practise at home • Ways to reduce fear and build confidence in your body’s ability to give birth • Practical tools for birth partners to provide calm, effective support • Creating a calm birth environment wherever you plan to give birth • Preparing for different birth scenarios so you feel informed and confident Please note: Our one-to-one hypnobirthing courses are arranged on an individual basis rather than on set dates. Sessions are typically delivered across three appointments but can be adapted to suit your needs. Sessions can take place in our studio or in your own home.
